  1. Can’t wait to see the first block! My favorite type of sewing is just regular piecing for quilt blocks. I love machine and hand embroidery and enjoy making baby quilts.

  2. Hi Michelle! Oooh, those little hexies sure look pretty in those fabrics. And SO little! That collection of Gutermann threads is also so very pretty, and really in your wheelhouse for color choices. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I will surely be following along, but unable to sew along during this project. I’m looking forward to seeing the gorgeous blocks and how they’ll look all together! My favorite sewing is improv where I can follow no rules, all rules and my choice of fabrics! I am a happy bloglovin’ follower!

  4. I like to have both a hand project and a machine project going. Right now I am making a queen-sized EPP project which I work on while traveling and in the evenings. During the day I work on a machine pieced quilt. I now have one sandwiched and pinned and ready to machine quilt.

  5. I can’t wait to see the blocks in this quilt along; however, I am unable to participate due to other obligations. My favourite quilting is needle turned Appliqué.

  6. I love embroidery best followed by applique.

I would love to participate but as I am not able to buy fabric at this time I will have to use what I already have. Is using the fabrics listed a requirement for participating?

  9. I enjoy pieced quilts but have accepted the challenge of paper piecing, embroidery and needle-turn applique. As much as I struggle with making seams nest I love designing with HSTs — so many possibilities! Looking forward to seeing the new blocks 🙂

  10. Michelle, you are going to Rick this quilt along!! I’m excited to see what you girls have cooking up for us. I have lost quite a bit of my sewing, blogging time, but I will try to follow along, and that is saying a lot about how much you mean to me!!!:). My favorite type of quilting is the type where we all quilt the same pattern or the same fabric and enjoy all of the different results! I hope I win!!
