Welcome along to the Makoti Quilt Along, I’m thrilled to have you sewing along with me, feel free to ask questions and leave comments.

With the first block being released today ( Friday 10th April ) and each new block being released every two weeks, you will have a beautiful completed quilt by September, perfect for those cosy nights in.

I’m using the Makoti fabric collection designed by Stuart Hillard be sure to head over to Stuarts Instagram page. The fabric is from Craftcotton, who have an amazing blog full of inspiration and makes to keep you busy during this lock down.

Hi Michelle, I am so sorry to come back to you, but I was wondering where you bought your fabric from, to see if I can get some more of the Orange (the centre of the first block), as I think that would look perfect as the running theme. Unfortunately I only have half a metre. It’s fine if I can’t get any, I will just make sure I use the other one with some orange in, but I just love the look of that running through the whole quilt. I thought it was worth an ask. Thanks so much x
