Fruitcake… and i’m not talking Christmas cake ;)

I was thrilled to be able to participate in another Fat Quarter Shop Quilt Along. For this Quilt Along, I made the Fat Eighth Fruitcake Quilt, which is  part of their shortcut quilt series

Finished size: 64” x 75.5”, Collection: Harriet’s Handwork by Betsy Chutchian

To complete my quilt, I chose  ‘love you’ by Moda, pure snow solids and cutest fabric for the backing ‘grey polar bears’ from the Minny Muu Spring 2016 collection by Lecien Fabrics

Once all the pieces were cut, this quilt came together surprisingly quickly

And I just love the backing and binding

Head over to ‘The Fat Quarter Shop’ to purchase your pattern, please tag me in your makes, I would love to see which fabrics you choose
