OMG wow I did it, I always try and steer away from zips and small fiddly things, but today was the day i had written down my next chosen challenge for the #sew6organizers hosted by @mycreativelypottylife and @craftylilmouse.

I chose the ‘triple pouch’ which didn’t just include 1 zip, but TWO!! 😲  Three pouches and two pockets – such a fabulous little pouch/bag.  It looked so complicated, and there were a few moments where id thought id bitten off more then i could chew, but can I just say how impressive the instructions are in this book ‘stitched sewing organizers’ @aneelahoey …

They are just brilliant, such an incredible talent to take something so complicated, and write it so simply, the drawings help you at every step. I really would recommend this book.

I used some gorgeous Gutermann threads, and a couple of my very handle haberdashery tools by Clover – ‘hold it precision stiletto’ and ‘point 2 point turner’

I used RJR fabrics from the ‘Amalfi’ collection, which i had spare from when i finished my Quilted Clam tote bag, earlier this month. Grab my tutorial on how to make my tote bag in the August issue of Patchwork & Quilting Magazine

Thanks for reading, head over to Instagram and follow the hashtag #sew6organizers to see all the gorgeous makes from this beautiful book by Aneela Hoey

Happy Sewing
